Our Story
We started PatPat in 2014 so families could dress together without thinking about it. Eleven years and four million families later, that's still the whole job.
PatPat started in 2014 because two engineers became dads in the same year and couldn't find clothes that fit how families actually live: matching but not costumey, soft enough to nap in, washed sixty times and still good.
Eleven years later, four million families have come through. The mission hasn't moved.
What we make
We design everyday matching for modern families — pieces that look effortless on a parent and a kid in the same frame, photograph well without trying, and hold up to the laundry pile.
Three systems anchor every season:
- Sleep system — bamboo-cotton blends engineered for thermoregulation; tagless, flat-seam, two-way zips on the babies.
- Travel system — wrinkle-recovery knits and lightweight wovens that pack into a carry-on and look intentional on landing.
- Holiday system — coordinated drops for the moments families dress up for: Disney trips, beach week, the December photo.
How we think about fabric
We treat fabric like Apple treats silicon — named, layered, story-told. Our flagship PatPatCloud™ Cotton is a long-staple cotton spun with a 4% elastane core for stretch that doesn't go slack. It survives 100 wash cycles without losing color uniformity, certified by an independent lab in Shenzhen.
Softness isn't a tagline. It's a spec.
Disney, the way families actually use it
We partner with Disney for the family moments that already matter — park days, Halloween, holiday photos. We don't put a character on a shirt and call it a collection. We design the outfit a family would actually wear together on the morning they're trying to make a memory.
Why four million families trust us
Because peace of mind compounds. Buy a sleep set in size 18M, get the matching size in 4T two years later. Same softness, same colorfastness, same way it photographs. Families grow with us. That's the only growth metric we care about.
The softest, smartest kidswear for modern families.
